Scholar Academy Preschool operates this website and a licensed preschool at 2200 Santa Barbara Blvd, Naples, FL 34116. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
From our website: your name, email address, phone number, and anything you choose to write when you submit the Book A Tour form. We may also collect basic, non-identifying visit information such as which pages were viewed and what type of device was used.
At enrollment: parent and guardian contact details, authorized pick-up persons, emergency contacts, your child's name and date of birth, allergies and medical conditions, physician information, and the health records Florida requires.
HEALTH AND ENROLLMENT RECORDS REQUIRED BY FLORIDA
Before a child begins care, Florida requires every family to provide:
A current immunization record (Florida DH Form 680), and a student health examination (Florida DH Form 3040) completed by a licensed physician.
These documents are kept in your child's file and are used only to care for your child safely, to respond Florida Department of Children and Families.
PHOTOS AND VIDEO — ALWAYS WITH YOUR PERMISSION
We love sharing our days. We photograph classroom activities, celebrations and outdoor play, and we sometimes post those photos on this website, on Facebook and on Instagram.
We only publish a photo or video of your child if a parent or legal guardian has signed a photo release. No release, no photo — it is that simple.
You may change your mind at any time. Tell us in writing or call (239) 455-9090 and we will stop using your child's image and remove existing photos from any platform we control.
We never publish a child's full name, address, birthday or other identifying details alongside a photo.
HOW WE USE AND SHARE INFORMATION
We use your information to care for your child safely, to reach you and your emergency contacts quickly, to meet Florida licensing and health requirements, to process enrollment, and to answer your questions about tours.
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with our staff on a need-to-know basis, with emergency responders if your child needs care, with the Florida Department of Children and Families where the law requires, and with the providers who run our website and email.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY, SECURITY AND YOUR CHOICES
This website is written for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.
Paper files are kept in a locked office and digital records in password-protected systems accessible only to authorized staff. We keep records while your child is enrolled and afterwards for the period Florida licensing requires.
Our website may use cookies and basic analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser and the site will still work.
You may ask to see your child's file, correct anything inaccurate, withdraw photo consent, or ask questions about this policy at any time.
